Description
The HVAC Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of SunVena’s HVAC operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing job workflows from agreement to completion, coordinating with subcontractors, securing permits and inspections, and maintaining communication with customers throughout the process. The HVAC Manager will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence while monitoring costs, scheduling, and compliance with local licensing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit HVAC jobs once agreements have been signed to ensure all project details are accurate and complete.
- Schedule site surveys and coordinate with subcontractors for seamless project execution.
- Oversee scheduling and completion of installs and inspections, ensuring timelines are met.
- Monitor and update the Hubspot job board to reflect the current status of all projects.
- Record and file Notices of Commencement as required by law.
- Apply for and manage all necessary permits and contractor licenses for each municipality.
- Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations related to the projects.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with customers regarding scheduling and project updates.
- Coordinate with subcontractors.
- Schedule and manage leak and service appointments.
- Send DocuSign addendums and change orders to customers for approvals.
- Monitor and respond to the inbox for project-related inquiries and updates.
- Audit subcontractor invoices for accuracy and approve payments.
- Invoice jobs to the solar department and maintain an up-to-date Job Cost Analysis Sheet.
- Register warranties for completed projects to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance.
- Schedule and oversee inspections during jobs and after completion to ensure quality standards are met.
- Audit completed jobs to confirm alignment with company and customer expectations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management or a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Familiarity with 2020 Florida Building Code
- Ability to multitask and be aware of all current jobs and their statuses.
- Strong communication skills
Computer Skills:
- Proficient with computers and the following but not limited to applications and platforms; Microsoft Word, Hubspot, Excel & GoogleSuit, SunBase, Simplifile, County permitting portals.
