Position Overview
As Associate, Stakeholder Relations, you will support internal and external planning and communication to various stakeholders (mainly project participating landowners, immediate neighbors, and local officials with jurisdiction over the project) leading up to and during the construction of utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects. The Stakeholder Relations Associate will be responsible for implementing Invenergy’s engagement strategies to improve the overall experience for the local community.
Responsibilities
Represent the project and/or Invenergy in meetings with county/municipal officials, landowners, and other local and state stakeholders.
Understand and explain benefits of projects to host community members.
Be responsive to community concerns throughout the construction process.
Collaborate with internal and external project stakeholders to communicate project updates leading up to and throughout the construction process. Collect and process feedback to proactively seek solutions when appropriate.
Attend public meetings and present project updates.
Internal reporting and progress tracking.
Maintain database of communication.
Thoroughly understand and communicate contract terms.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of relevant experience in agriculture, construction, or development.
Excellent solution-seeking, organizational, teamwork, leadership and communication skills which extend across numerous internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated ability in leadership of multi-disciplined teams.
Strong public speaking and personal skills.
Ability to write effective, concise reports.
Ability to spend approximately 50% of time traveling.
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
Agricultural and construction field experience.
Degree in renewables, agribusiness, construction, or engineering.
$82,500.00 - $100,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 20% - 30%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
