General Laborers support pipeline and midstream logistics projects across the U.S. This role involves performing a wide variety of manual labor tasks to support construction support, line pipe logistics, material handling, and equipment operations. General Laborers play a key part in helping deliver safe, high-quality, and on-time project execution in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load, unload, and handle materials including pipe, fittings, skids, and construction supplies.
• Assist with pipe stringing, yard organization, and laydown operations.
• Operate hand and power tools, including saws, grinders, and pressure washers.
• Clean and prepare job sites by removing debris, setting up barricades, and maintaining safe access.
• Assist equipment operators, welders, and other skilled trades as needed.
• Perform traffic control duties when required (e.g., flagging, spotting).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
• Support logistics teams with inventory checks, load counts, and quality inspections.
• Assist with trench work, backfilling, and minor grading activities under supervision.
Qualifications & Skills:
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in pipeline, oil & gas, or heavy civil construction preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to work outdoors in remote field locations for extended periods.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Commitment to safety and reliability.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
