Description
Join a well-established and rapidly growing residential solar organization where craftsmanship meets innovation. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Engraver to support our high-volume engraving department. In this role, you’ll operate both rotary and laser engraving machines, create custom CAD designs, and help ensure the quality and accuracy of every finished product that supports our solar installations nationwide.
This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to a clean energy mission while building specialized skills in engraving, CAD design, and production operations.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with a small, dedicated team to produce approximately 20,000 standard and custom engraved plaques per month for residential solar projects.
- Read and interpret as-built site drawings to develop accurate CAD layouts of residential sites.
- Operate and maintain rotary and laser engraving machines, ensuring consistent performance and output quality.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning on a set schedule.
- Organize and prioritize workflow to maximize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Assist with shipping and organizing finished products for field team use.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and CAD software.
- Prior experience operating production engraving machines (rotary or laser).
- Excellent attention to detail, craftsmanship, and pride in work quality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while also managing independent tasks.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capability to safely lift, move, and position materials as needed.
- Consistent, reliable attendance in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
