Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Master Electrician to lead our electrical operations and ensure the highest level of safety, quality, and compliance on all solar installations. As a Master Electrician with Trinity Solar, you will play a pivotal leadership role—mentoring licensed electricians and apprentices, overseeing electrical design and installation quality, and ensuring all work aligns with NEC and local code standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and review all electrical work performed on solar installations to ensure safety, compliance, and high-quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to electricians, apprentices, and installation teams.
- Ensure full compliance with NEC, OSHA, and all state and local electrical codes and requirements.
- Perform and supervise electrical installations, including service upgrades, system interconnections, inverters, disconnects, and related components.
- Sign off on permits and inspection documentation as required by state and local jurisdictions.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide hands-on support for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to review system designs, schematics, and installation plans.
- Communicate effectively with inspectors, utilities, project managers, and customers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all electrical work, inspections, and compliance audits.
- Foster a culture of safety, training, and continuous improvement within the electrical team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Active Master Electrician license in the state of Ohio.
- 5+ years of electrical experience, including at least 2 years in solar PV or renewable energy preferred.
- Expert-level understanding of NEC, local codes, grounding, bonding, and service interconnections.
- Proven experience in supervising and mentoring electrical teams.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification a plus (not required).
