Responsibilities:
- Install solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols while working at heights
- Connect solar panels to electrical systems, ensuring proper wiring and connections
- Perform electrical work, including running conduit and wiring
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Use hand and power tools to assemble and install solar panel mounting systems
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues with solar panel installations
Skills:
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations
- Proficiency in electrical work, including low voltage and high voltage systems
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with commercial electrician practices and procedures
- Understanding of roof construction and installation techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with solar panel installations
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time

Pay: $22.37 - $27.89 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 70 per week
