Lumina Solar is looking for motivated and outgoing individuals to join our team as Door-to-Door Canvassers. As a Canvasser, you will play a crucial role in engaging with potential customers directly, promoting our products/services, and generating leads. This position requires effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to various neighborhoods and customer interactions.
Responsibilities:
Canvassing Operations:
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing in designated neighborhoods to promote and represent the organization
- Engage with homeowners and provide information about our products/services
- Use a provided script and materials to convey key messages effectively
Lead Generation:
- Identify and qualify potential customers interested in our offerings
- Collect relevant information, including contact details and homeowner preferences
- Focus on generating high-quality leads for further engagement by sales teams
Appointment Scheduling:
- Schedule and confirm appointments with interested homeowners for product presentations or consultations
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover of scheduled appointments
Customer Education:
- Educate homeowners about the benefits, features, and unique selling points of our products/services
- Answer questions and address concerns to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction
Data Collection:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of canvassing activities
- Submit daily reports on doors visited, interactions, and lead generation outcomes
Compliance and Ethics:
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards during canvassing activities
- Respect homeowner privacy and property while conducting outreach
Feedback and Improvement:
- Provide feedback to supervisors on customer responses, common objections, and areas for improvement
- Participate in training sessions and continuous learning opportunities
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation for neighborhood canvassing.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to navigate neighborhoods and communities effectively
- Previous experience in direct sales, customer service, or canvassing is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Positive attitude and resilience in facing potential rejection
- Basic knowledge of the organization's products/services and industry
