We are in need of Licensed and Unlicensed Electricians to help build our wind farm in New Mexico.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Assist apprentices and journeymen with various tasks
- Running conduit, ring grounding, control and power terminations
- Pulling cables, installing aluminum bus and jumper, erecting structural steel and equipment
- Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Six (6) years of progressively responsible journey level electrical experience; OR, Completion of a four-year federally approved technical training program in electrical repair and maintenance and two (2) years electrical experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Requires a current driver's license upon employment.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent; or equivalent combinations of training and experience
- Licensed in the state of New Mexico or reciprocated state preferred
- The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screen
- Willingness to travel and relocate to the job site (100% travel)
