Job Description:
The Branch Manager is responsible for the operations and management of a specific region. The Manager supervises personnel in their region and is responsible for hiring and training new employees. It is the Manager’s responsibility to make sure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in a professional manner.
Responsibilities:
•Lead and develop solar service technicians and build a positive team environment
•Provide technical support for techs in the field
•Assign technicians to specific work orders based on technician skill sets to ensure job is completed in a timely manner
•Scheduling of jobs and assigning technicians to work based on their skill sets.
•Review and approve all timecards and expense reports.
•Review all deliverables turned in by technicians to ensure accuracy and completeness.
•Participate in regular safety meetings and ensure that all personnel are fully trained in and adhere to the company’s safety standards in their work.
•Hire and train new personnel and build capability of regional team.
•Promote and enforce company policies and values.
•Develop processes aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness and ensure quality control.
•Recruit, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors in your region, including developing guidelines for the company interaction with subcontractors.
•Ensure that all work meets local, state, and federal electrical regulatory standards
•Manage all region operations in line with budgeted and operational performance.
•Respond to reactive maintenance events- potentially in emergency.
•Communicate activities to clients, appropriate personnel, vendors, and internal staff.
•Create estimates of time and materials to perform corrective maintenance.
•All other duties as assigned.
