ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Trinity Solar is seeking a full-time Paralegal for its Corporate Headquarters located in Wall, NJ. The Paralegal will work with an in-house corporate Legal Department consisting of multiple attorneys and paralegals. The Paralegal will also interface with outside counsel and staff, other personnel within the business, including executive management, vendors, insurance companies, government entities and other parties outside the company. Work requires accurate attention to detail and may include transactional matters as well as litigation, pre-litigation, and quasi-litigation support in a fast-paced environment. An ideal candidate for the Paralegal position must be energetic, positive, highly organized, exceptionally detail-oriented, project-driven, willing and able to take final ownership of content delivered to management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with executives, managers, co-workers, and relevant parties (such as Legal, Accounting, Payroll, Human Resources, Sales Management, Sales Administration, Property Management, employees, and job candidates).
- Data entry and maintenance of incoming legal matters; work with management to monitor and track matters.
- Submit, track and take ownership of insurance claims; field and respond to adjuster requests and questions.
- Compile documents required for various matters, including pre and post litigation cases.
- Review and process various contracts and legal documents.
- Pull relevant documents from platforms such as Salesforce, Paycom and other sources.
- Open, maintain and update litigation, contract and insurance files.
- Conduct research as needed, including licensing, laws, ordinances and regulations.
- Work with legal team and take on assignments and special projects as needed.
- Draft transmittal letters and various legal documents.
- Create and maintain cross-departmental reports.
- Coordinate processes between departments.
- Identify matters to be escalated.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Paralegal Certificate preferred.
- Major or course of study in law, paralegal studies, human resources, and/or business preferred.
- 5-10 years of paralegal work experience.
- Working knowledge of litigation, business insurance, and insurance claims processing.
- Working knowledge of corporate leasing preferred.
- Computer skills including a strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and O365 programs.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar platform.
- Comfortable with learning new computer-based platforms and software such as applicant tracking systems, sales tracking systems, legal matters and contract management systems.
- Candidates will be asked to demonstrate writing ability and should present writing samples as well as business references.
- Candidates may be asked to perform a written evaluation on site.
- Notary Public preferred.
