Description
The Engineering Specialist shall have a knowledge and understanding of structural building systems, particularly wood framed residential construction.
Roles & Responsibilities

Possess the ability to review existing structures for the addition of solar PV systems.

Determine if upgrades to building structures are required.

Prepare evaluation documents for submission to the building department.

Provide additional support to field crews.
Qualifications & Experience
-
0-2 years relevant experience

Engineering technology degree is preferred, will consider a combination of education and relevant experience

Working knowledge of building codes, particularly wood framing

Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Salesforce is a plus

Team player with good communication skills

Able to multitask and work on several small projects concurrently
