Job Overview:
The Senior Project Manager will oversee the project management team, handle complex
customer escalations, and ensure that all project management tasks are completed within SLA
and meet key performance indicators (KPIs). This role involves mentoring and training team
members and collaborating with other departments to address multi-team issues.
Key Responsibilities:
● Resolve all customer escalations with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
● Have a robust understanding of all Project Management tasks and responsibilities, as
well as particular local AHJ requirements, and technical solar knowledge
● Manage, motivate, mentor, and train project management team members.
● Ensure all project management tasks are completed within SLA and meet KPIs.
● Collaborate with other departments to resolve multi-team issues and drive project
success.
● Work hand-in-hand with the Regional Operations Manager to ensure the pipeline and
individual projects are being actively managed
● Cover morning warehouse responsibilities for the Regional Operations Manager when
they are unavailable (PTO, emergency, etc.).
● Navigate Salesforce to log calls, understand project status, and update project notes.
● Schedule installations, inspections, and service calls.
● Make outbound calls to customers to confirm and follow up on appointments.
● Communicate with technicians to ensure job completion and troubleshoot issues.
● Submit permits and understand AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) requirements.
● Create permit packages for installation teams and coordinate their delivery.
● Attend AHJ meetings as needed.
● Review installation and service photos to ensure correct completion.
● Ensure that projects meet quality standards and address any issues.
Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of clerical or other office experience
- Solar experience
- Permitting experience required
- Must be a self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic and customer service focus
- Must be very organized and possess strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Fast typing and data entry skills
- CRM experience a plus (SalesForce)
- Experience with Sunnova and Mosaic desired
Compensation:
$60k - $75k (depending on experience)
