RANGE: 70K-95K ANNUAL
Summary of Position:
The key role for this position is to ensure inventory accuracy for the business. The position records and maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced. Ensures compliance with established internal inventory control procedures. Familiar with inventory control standards concepts, practices, and procedures. Performs a variety of tasks related to inventory and production control. Works under general supervision.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for scheduling and maintaining the company truck and lift trucks
· Work with third party freight logistics company
· Secure inventory – support material distribution process followed for production and R&D requirements
· Performs annual physical inventory
· Implement and maintain FIFO Inventory practices
· Enter job material issues from job pick lists in production to maintain daily inventory on hand accuracy
· Complete daily cycle count and update metrics
· Reconcile cycle count results and request approval to make system corrections
· Perform material transactions i.e., Misc. Receipts and Misc. Issues
· Research material on-hand discrepancies that are encountered outside the cycle count program
· Review slow moving and obsolete inventory and disposition accordingly
· Review daily incoming material receipts for production shortages
· Participate in MRP process, including tracking of returned materials
· Insure product is properly packaged for shipment
· Initiate and track claims on freight damage
· Investigate discrepancies between vendor packing slips and original order.
· Track material at outside services and rework to ensure inventory accuracy
· Participate in supplier assessment process
· Maintains safe work environment – following and enforcing FlexEnergy Safety procedures
· Responsible for 5S implementation in warehouse locations
· Responsible for documentation related to principle responsibilities
Qualifications:
· Requires a high school diploma
· 2 – 5 years’ experience in the field or in a related area
· Syteline ERP experience
Competencies:
· Proven track record of inventory control in a manufacturing environment
· Review daily inventory reports and determine root cause of discrepancies
· Knowledge of indented bill of materials
· Ability to research, trouble shoot, and resolve inventory issues
· Experience in LEAN manufacturing environment
Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office/warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
