Summary of Position:
Responsible for the shop and office activities in the Branch. Provides support including administrative, purchasing, inventory, local accounting, human resources, safety, coordination with property management representative and janitorial services. Assist in scheduling on all material flow issues to meet production schedules and customer requirements. Interfaces with purchasing, accounting, and engineering on planning and forecasting of customer requirements to meet customer timeline and expectations.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
Shop
· Manage critical supply chain situations that arise by coordinating communication and understanding between suppliers, engineering, and operations.
· Coordinate shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to inventory.
· Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
· File requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.
· Handle local parts purchasing requests (with prior approval) to include finding suppliers, working with corporate office for vendor set up, requesting purchase orders, picking up parts, and delivery to the warehouse or field as needed.
· Run parts to the field as needed.
· Loads/unloads and moves materials within the warehouse and/or yard.
· Pull parts using pick lists, kitting and follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
· Ensure physical inventory and maintain designated inventory records using various material tracking software.
· Prep product for shipment – including loading parts on pallets or in boxes, applying shipment documents etc.
· Work with local vendors on all shop equipment and company vehicle maintenance, including but not limited to maintenance tracking, scheduling, and invoice reconciliation.
· Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for all authorized employees.
· Lead and participate in physical inventory counts.
· Sweep, dust and mop. Organize shop and work area for orderliness at all times.
· May perform mechanical repairs and basic maintenance of equipment and/or company service vehicles.
· Perform any special tasks that may be assigned which will contribute to the achievement of the Company’s strategic objectives.
Office/Safety
· Basic accounting knowledge
· Assist HR department with new hire onboarding, recruiting, benefits and basic HR questions.
· Assist Safety with compliance and training as needed.
· Work with HR, Safety and Finance departments regarding office compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
· Coordinate all travel arrangements for the office as directed by Branch Manager.
· Assist Branch Manager in creating weekly/monthly work schedule.
· Gather data and prepare management reports as required.
· Analyze and organize office operations such as fleet management, corporate housing, inventory management, filing systems, data input, record retention and invoice processing.
· Purchase office equipment, services, and supplies.
· Act as liaison between management and cleaning services (office and corporate housing)
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· At least five years of relevant experience required.
· Inventory management
· Strong knowledge of MS Office software and accounting/inventory systems.
· Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Syteline ERP system.
· Associate or bachelor’s degree.
· Experience in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong desire to self-motivate and expand industry knowledge.
· Forklift certified.

· Strong Syteline knowledge to complete shop tasks and assist techs with Syteline.

Working Conditions:
This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.
