About The Role
We are looking for a Junior Systems Administrator to support our cloud-based IT environment, with a primary focus on device management, cloud service administration, and user onboarding, IT support, and user/device security. This role will ensure a seamless IT experience for employees by managing user accounts, configuring devices, and providing support for cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Azure AD and a passion for IT support and automation. Additionally, the Systems Administrator will support users across 10+ states, both in the office and in the field, managing a wide range of assets including laptops, phones, modules, warehouse tools, and more.

Responsibilities- Configure and deploy laptops and mobile devices using Intune (Endpoint Manager) and Windows Autopilot.
- Provide technical support for employees, troubleshooting issues with Microsoft 365 applications, cloud storage, and collaboration tools.
- Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions within Azure AD, Teams, SharePoint, and other SaaS applications.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with security policies, including MFA, Conditional Access, and endpoint security settings.
- Assist with new hire onboarding, including user account creation, email setup, and access provisioning in Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.
- Document IT processes, troubleshooting guides, and best practices for common user requests.
- Assist with license management and software deployment across the organization.
- Work alongside senior IT staff to optimize cloud-based workflows and automation.
- Support IT asset tracking, ensuring accurate records of company-issued devices.
Required Qualifications- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 1 year of experience in an IT support or system administration role, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 administration, Azure AD, and cloud-based security best practices.
- Experience with Windows device setup, Intune, and remote troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications - Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals or Azure Fundamentals.
- Experience with automation using PowerShell or scripting tools.
- Knowledge of IT security best practices, including zero-trust security models.
- Experience in Azure cloud computing environments, specifically for securing and monitor services.
- Familiarity with Jira as a ticketing solution.
