OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to join our growing IT team. This role acts as a liaison between business units and the ERP system, analyzing and improving business processes, data structures, and automation to meet organizational objectives. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with ERP improvements, and a collaborative mindset to drive solutions that align with business goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements under the guidance of senior analysts.
- Support analysis and documentation of current-state and future-state ERP processes.
- Perform initial evaluations of existing ERP processes and systems to identify inefficiencies or gaps.
- Contribute to the development of recommendations and improvements to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Collaborate in the creation of documentation, including workflows, business requirements, and training materials.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams for new ERP feature development.
- Support data analysis efforts, including data gathering and preliminary interpretation.
- Help develop basic reports and dashboards to provide insights for stakeholders.
- Assist in coordinating with IT, project managers, and business stakeholders to support project delivery.
- Participate in meetings and workshops to gather input and gain a deeper understanding of business needs.
- Contribute to the creation of user-friendly training materials and assist in delivering training sessions.
- Perform other tasks as assigned, with opportunities for skill-building and development.

Business Systems Analyst II
- Includes all Responsibilities and Desired Skills & Experience indicated In Level I above and the following:
- Focus: Independently analyze and optimize ERP processes and data structures, serving as a key contact for both technical and business teams while delivering impactful improvements.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Document current-state and future-state processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Recommend and implement ERP enhancements to improve productivity.
- Define and analyst API integration requirements for the ERP.
- Create detailed documentation, including workflows, user guides, and training materials.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver projects on time.
- Develop reports and dashboards for actionable business insights.
- Facilitate workshops to drive consensus and align requirements.
- Design and deliver training materials to empower users.
- Additional Certifications: CAPM, ERP-specific certifications.
Business Systems Analyst – Senior
- Includes all Responsibilities and Desired Skills & Experience indicated above in Levels I and II, and the following
- Focus: Lead high-impact initiatives by partnering with senior leadership, analyzing complex challenges, and delivering advanced ERP solutions while mentoring junior analysts.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Translate strategic objectives into functional and technical ERP requirements.
- Lead efforts to evaluate and improve high-impact processes and ERP integrations.
- Design and implement advanced solutions for cross-departmental productivity.
- Create comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications.
- Serves as the primary liaison between business units and IT teams.
- Analyze complex data trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Oversee project collaboration to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Facilitate and lead workshops and stakeholder meetings.
- Mentor junior analysts to foster professional growth.
- Additional Certifications: PMP, ERP-Specific Architect
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or a combination of equivalent education and at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven ability to absorb and apply new technical knowledge quickly.
- Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and a desire to innovate.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and their technology requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to apply empathy and curiosity to understand diverse perspectives.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and their components is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift, carry, stack, and move IT equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to convey detailed and accurate instructions and information verbally.
- Ability to hear with or without correction for receiving and interpreting detailed information.
- Ability to sit or stand at a desk workstation for varying periods.
- Capability to push, pull, lift, reach, and carry at least 10 pounds, occasionally lifting/moving up to 35 lbs. with or without assistance
- Occasional walking and standing are required.
- Visual acuity with or without correction for reading documentation, analyzing data, and using electronic devices
- Use of fingers and hands for operating a computer or other electronic devices
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching may be required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position primarily operates within an office setting designed as an open and collaborative space. The role involves a balance of independent work and teamwork, fostering a supportive environment to effectively address and fulfill customer requests.
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
This position reports to the Director of Information Technology.

COMPENSATION:
A reasonable estimate of the current hourly range for this position is $63,500.00 - $96,200.00 per year. The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
