Description
SunVena is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Inspection Sitter to represent our company at customer homes for the inspection process. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting with municipal or utility inspectors to provide necessary information regarding the solar installation, the system components, and the overall installation process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent SunVena at customer homes during municipal or utility inspections.
- Meet with municipal or utility inspectors and provide them with all necessary information related to the solar installation, including system components, installation process, and any documentation required.
- Ensure that all inspection requirements are clearly communicated to the inspectors and address any questions or concerns they may have.
- Facilitate the inspection process by preparing the site and the customer for the inspection.
- Maintain clear communication with both the customer and inspection teams, ensuring that the process goes smoothly and any follow-up actions are completed.
- Keep accurate records of inspections and document any issues or feedback from inspectors.
- Address any concerns from the inspectors regarding compliance with local codes or industry standards and escalate as needed.
- Occasionally assist in organizing equipment in the warehouse.
- Adhere to all PPE and safety regulations according to OSHA and company standards.
- Complete any additional tasks as directed by leadership.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in the solar industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of solar installation processes and system components.
- Good understanding of municipal or utility inspection procedures and local building codes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with customers, inspectors, and internal teams.
- Professional and customer-focused demeanor.
- Ability to problem-solve and address issues that arise during inspections.
- Ability to manage time effectively and be punctual.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to document information clearly and accurately.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record for insurability, as this position requires driving.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
