Solar Energy Solutions (SES) is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Construction Safety Coordinator to join our team. As the Construction Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing safety programs and protocols on construction sites for our solar energy projects. You will ensure compliance with safety regulations, provide training, and foster a culture of safety among all employees and subcontractors. Travel is required to all SES locations including but not limited to Lexington and Louisville Kentucky, Cincinnati Ohio, Indianapolis Indiana.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage safety programs and protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on construction sites to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide safety training and orientation to new employees and subcontractors.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to promote a culture of safety and accountability.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, and incidents.
- Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and regulatory changes related to worker safety.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Safety Coordinator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct training and presentations effectively.
- Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) are preferred.
- Proficient in using safety management software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
