As a Warehouse Coordinator at Solar Energy Solutions, you will play an essential role in the management and organization of our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our warehouse is organized, stocked, and ready to support our installation teams effectively. You will oversee inventory management, coordinate materials for installation projects, and maintain an efficient workflow. This role is critical in facilitating a smooth and timely supply chain for solar energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and track inventory levels, ensuring timely restocking of materials.
- Coordinate material preparation and packaging for install crews.
- Supervise loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Implement and uphold safety protocols within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with the Install Team Leaders to fulfill materials requests and replacements.
- Conduct regular audits of stock and inventory to prevent shortages or overages.
- Assist in organizing training sessions for warehouse staff.
- Support any operational improvements and change initiatives.
- Forklift experience is a MUST
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- 3+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in a supervisory or coordinating role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
- Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks at once.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, maintaining positive relationships with team members.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and warehouse management software.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform strenuous tasks.
- Pass of a pre-employment drug test and background checks are required.
