Description
The primary focus of this position is to deliver a 5-star service experience to our customers throughout the entire lifecycle of our products. This involves providing pre-install design services to achieve desired outcomes and optimal equipment configurations. Additionally, the role entails handling post-installation troubleshooting, scheduling services, and inspection fixes promptly to ensure the system operates efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to design battery and monitoring power unit (MPU) configurations that align with project requirements, jurisdictional regulations, site limitations, equipment restrictions, utility company guidelines, and customer expectations.
- Utilize product knowledge and field experience to troubleshoot systems remotely, identify issues, and determine the most effective solutions.
- Assess damages or issues that occur on projects we have worked on, and determine appropriate actions for resolution.
- Evaluate inspection requirements, address any identified deficiencies or fixes, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Collect and analyze data on product performance and installation performance to identify trends, improve processes, and provide accurate estimates of labor and time for future projects.
- Document and build cases to support labor and warranty claims, working closely with relevant companies to seek appropriate resolutions.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and provide training to internal teams and customers as needed.
- Maintain effective communication channels to provide regular status updates, track data, and ensure timely response to customer inquiries.
- Coordinate service requests, inspections, and maintenance tasks, optimizing schedules to minimize downtime and maximize customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in battery and monitoring power unit (MPU) design for solar installations, considering various factors such as jurisdictional regulations, job site limitations, equipment restrictions, utility company guidelines, and customer expectations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve system issues remotely or determine the necessary materials, labor, and time needed for on-site solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of solar energy systems, including equipment, components, and installation best practices.
- Experience in assessing damages and issues that occur on solar projects and implementing appropriate corrective actions.
- Familiarity with inspection requirements and the ability to address identified deficiencies or fixes in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Experience in managing labor and warranty claims, including documenting cases and collaborating with relevant companies for resolution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate status updates, track data, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to coordinate service scheduling, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools used in solar design, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
