Quality Health, Safety & Environment Manager - EMEA
This role is a senior management role in our international operations and is responsible for all aspects of quality, health, safety and environmental activities in the regions part of the EMEA scope.
This role is a job management position that supports and provides guidance to the team reporting to this role.
The QHSE Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing the company's quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) management system. The QHSE Manager will be fully responsible for implementing safe work systems and safe behavioural practices at all levels of the organisation.
This position provides QHSE guidance to the organization and supports the operational process in order to maintain and continuously improve the safety culture and performance, in line with the organization's needs to meet short-, medium- and long-term business objectives and in accordance with the terms of our various contracts and Integrated Management System.
Main responsibilities:
● Develop, implement, and improve QHSE management systems, processes, and procedures to support business operations in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and OSHAD-SF.
● Communicate information about the QHSE management system across the organization and promote HSE awareness through various communication channels, e.g. induction, training, campaigns, flyers, discussions, emails etc. In consultation with all relevant departments.
● Prepare QHSE documentation for clients/projects as per requirements and in consultation with BD/Operations team.
● Carry out QHSE inspections in-house and with third parties (contractors) according to the company's approved inspection schedule. Follow the preventive and/or corrective actions identified during the inspections and monitor the timely closure of the actions in coordination with the other departments.
● Develop, facilitate, and review QHSE risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities in consultation with the operations team.
● Record QHSE key performance indicators on a monthly basis and publish reports as needed. Suggest and recommend changes to ensure continuous improvement of any additional actual KPIs to be added into the system as part of continuous improvement
● Develop, implement and encourage a behaviour-based safety culture in the organisation through safe work observations and top management inspections.
● Perform daily passes through NSPS facilities and/or NSPS customer locations to monitor and promote a safe workplace.
● Actively participate in HSE accident investigations and prepare the required reports in consultation with management.
● Act as an NSPS representative in all QHSE meetings, committees, CoEs and seminars.
● Understand, implement, and follow NSPS' QHSE policies.
● Immediately report any HSE incident according to HSE procedures.
● Implement and coordinate on-site QHSE procedure
- Ensure and manage the necessary requirements of administration and procurement of the QHSE

Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Work experience within a multinational organization, including direct support of international emerging markets
- Solid experience, especially experience with the creation of new processes
- Completing projects independently with minimal guidance
- Proven success working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Track record in successfully completing various QHSE initiatives
Instruction:
• Degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent
• Technical safety training
