Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Installation Manager to lead the planning, scheduling, and logistics of multiple solar installation crews. As a key member of our operations team, you’ll ensure projects are staffed, resourced, and executed on time—delivering high-quality solar installations that exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in scheduling, logistics, and team management, who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations for multiple solar installation crews, including staffing, scheduling, materials management, and customer coordination.
- Assign responsibilities and monitor performance to ensure each project is executed efficiently, safely, and on schedule.
- Track and analyze workforce performance, hours, quality, and other key metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Anticipate and resolve delays or bottlenecks by adjusting schedules, reallocating resources, and communicating changes quickly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date job schedules using Excel, Salesforce CRM, and other internal tools.
- Provide clear communication and updates to employees, subcontractors, and corporate leadership on project status.
- Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly reports, including progress updates, operating metrics, and recommendations.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and customer satisfaction within installation crews.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations, construction management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 3–5+ years of experience in workforce scheduling, field operations, or supervisory roles (construction or solar industry experience a plus).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and ability to quickly learn new software; Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
- Strong skills in scheduling, organization, and time management with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of solar installation processes, equipment, and hardware is preferred but not required.
