Description
Trinity Solar is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing and wiring residential photovoltaic (PV) systems in accordance with company standards, project specifications, and electrical codes. You’ll serve as the on-site electrical lead, ensuring safe, high-quality installations that reflect Trinity’s reputation for excellence in solar energy.
The ideal candidate is a licensed professional with strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a passion for renewable energy and craftsmanship.
What You’ll Do
- Install, wire, and commission solar-related electrical equipment and components in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and Trinity Solar standards.
- Lead and mentor the solar installation crew on all electrical aspects of the project, providing technical direction and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Prepare job sites by staging materials, inspecting equipment, and verifying readiness for installation.
- Complete detailed project documentation, including system diagrams, inspection photos, and installation reports.
- Communicate professionally with customers, inspectors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, following all safety policies and protocols.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly, adhering to safety and maintenance guidelines.
What You Bring
- Active state-issued Journeyman or Master Electrician license (required)
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and best practices for residential electrical systems
- Experience with residential or commercial solar PV systems strongly preferred
- Proficiency with electrical and mechanical tools; strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work safely at heights and on residential roofs for extended periods
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., bend, kneel, and climb ladders regularly
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment drug screening
