Description
We’re seeking a Solar Inspection Technician who takes pride in precision, professionalism, and teamwork. In this role, you’ll ensure our solar installations meet all required safety and code standards while representing Trinity Solar in the field with integrity and confidence.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct pre-inspection audits to ensure systems are fully prepared for municipal or utility inspections.
- Work closely with the Inspection Coordinator and Field Manager to review daily schedules, priorities, and inspection requirements.
- Open and secure electrical panels, junction boxes, and disconnects to provide clear access for inspectors.
- Obtain required photos, signatures, and documentation to verify inspection completion and compliance.
- Properly rivet placards, apply final inspection stickers, and record inspection outcomes in internal systems.
- Safely set up and secure ladders, tie-offs, and safety gear for inspectors as needed.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local inspection offices and city/county officials.
- Communicate inspection results and any corrective actions promptly and accurately.
- Work independently while maintaining a high standard of safety, quality, and professionalism.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support field operations.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college or technical training preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of inspection, field service, or construction experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with inspectors, teammates, and customers.
- Solid problem-solving abilities and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat); Salesforce experience a plus.
- Electrical knowledge or familiarity with solar systems preferred.
- Comfortable working at heights with proper safety equipment.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- A company vehicle will be provided for inspection duties.
