Lifestyle Solar’s New Home Division is looking for an Account Manager for the California Market, with focus on growing the new home business in California. The position will be in Fresno, CA, and allows remote work schedule. You will work exclusively with production homebuilders and custom homebuilders to incorporate solar, battery, and microgrid solutions into the construction of new home communities. You will ideally have experience in the homebuilding industry, B2B sales, and ability to foster strong relationships. Ability to recruit new builders is a must.
The successful account manager will lead the expansion of the new home business with new builder customers throughout California.
Responsibilities:
- Open new contracts with new home builders
- Customize and launch sales programs of homebuilders
- Master plan design update
- Rebate negotiations
- Sales requirements
- Design requirements
- Operation integration
- Day to day support of homebuilder accounts
- First cross-function support point of contact
- Case escalations
- Reporting required by builders
- Operations to increase builder close rates
- Support builders sales team
- Develop process tailored for each builder
- Homebuilder negotiation and management
- In person meetings with builder accounts
- Join/attend in industry meetings/events
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently
- Location is flexible with remote/office/travel as needed
- Flexible work hours and willingness to work with new homebuilder schedule
- Strong computer skills
- Understand residential production homebuilding
This is a full-time position with shifts on Monday through to Friday.
