OVERVIEW:
The Vice President of Sales & Marketing is a dynamic sales professional with a laser focus on driving profitable growth and expanding our market presence. We seek a candidate with a track record of successful sales, deep marketing expertise, and extensive experience leading high-performing sales and marketing teams. In this role, you will spearhead efforts to expand our sales pipeline in tandem with the growth of our production capacity. Our company specializes in utility-scale PV solar, storage, and distribution substations, positioning us at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve company goals and objectives
- Lead and manage the sales and marketing team, providing guidance, support, and coaching
- Establish clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for measuring progress
- Manage critical negotiations with key stakeholders, clients, and partners
- Cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances to drive sales growth and enhance the company’s market position
- Collaborate with strategic partners and clients to identify new product solutions
- Build and maintain industry relationships
- Perform other tasks as assigned
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The Vice President of Sales & Marketing spends most of their time in an office environment. The office is an open and collaborative space where work is performed both independently and with the team to ensure that internal and external stakeholder requests are met.
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
This is an exempt position that reports to the President and CEO.

LOCATION:
Construction Innovations’ facilities and offices are located in Sacramento, CA, and Mather, CA.
COMPENSATION:
A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $217,850.00 - 347,700.00. The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

Qualifications
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred
- 15+ years of sales and marketing experience with proven leadership skills, successfully leading change
- Ability to leverage a network of clients and relationships to develop opportunities in the utility-scale PV, storage and/or infrastructure markets
- Ability to evaluate market trends, emerging technology, and competitive intelligence to develop strategy
- Ability to strategize and negotiate complex sales deals
- Knowledge of electrical systems and their components is a plus
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
- Ability to travel as needed to support business goals
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Email, Salesforce, and project management software.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to convey detailed and accurate instructions and information verbally
- Ability to hear with or without correction for receiving and interpreting detailed information
- Ability to sit at a desk workstation for varying periods
- Capability to push, pull, lift, reach, and carry at least 10 pounds, occasionally lifting/moving up to 35 lbs. with or without assistance
- Occasional walking and standing are required.
- Visual acuity with or without correction for reading documentation, analyzing data, and using electronic devices
- Use of fingers and hands for operating a computer or other electronic devices
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching may be required.
