OVERVIEW:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the overall financial strategy and financial performance of the company and serves as a critical partner to the CEO to plan and execute the company’s growth plans. This role will serve on the executive leadership team and requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry, strong financial acumen, and the ability to drive operational efficiency. The CFO will partner closely with the executive leadership team to achieve company objectives while ensuring financial stability and growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the finance team (including accounting and payroll), providing guidance, support, and coaching
- Lead financial planning and analysis for the organization, including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives, including growth plans, treasury, pricing, and inventory management.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company’s business operations, identifying opportunities for financial improvement and providing strategic financial guidance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts
- Develop strategies to increase return on investment and profitability
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team to create budgets and track key performance indicators
- Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, cost control measures, and resource allocation
- Establish clear operational targets, KPIs and performance benchmarks for measuring progress
- Promote a culture of innovation, quality, continuous improvement, and safety
- Perform other duties as assigned
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The CFO spends most of their time in an office environment. The office is an open and collaborative space where work is performed both independently and with the team to ensure that internal and external stakeholder requests are met.
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
This is an exempt position that reports to the President and CEO.

Career advancement at Construction Innovations is possible for all positions, though not guaranteed. Advancement opportunities may exist within the current department or in other departments within the company.
LOCATION:
Construction Innovations’ facilities and offices are located in Sacramento, CA, and Mather, CA.
COMPENSATION:
A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $250,000.00+. The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

Qualifications
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
- CPA or other relevant certifications are highly desirable
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, cost accounting, and inventory management
- Proven track record of financial performance improvement and cost reduction
- Know and adhere to generally accepted accounting principles and applicable corporate finance laws
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Creative thinker with good business judgment
- Knowledge of electrical systems and their components is a plus
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Power BI, ERP systems
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to convey detailed and accurate instructions and information verbally
- Ability to hear with or without correction for receiving and interpreting detailed information
- Ability to sit at a desk workstation for varying periods
- Capability to push, pull, lift, reach, and carry at least 10 pounds, occasionally lifting/moving up to 35 lbs. with or without assistance
- Occasional walking and standing
- Visual acuity with or without correction for reading documentation, analyzing data, and using electronic devices
- Use of fingers and hands for operating a computer or other electronic devices
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching may be required.
