OVERVIEW:
As the Director of Information Technology, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and achieving results through technology. Your first project will be to lead the creation of a new in-house IT department as we transition away from a shared services model. This includes setting up IT infrastructure, systems, and networks. Your strategic vision and hands-on leadership will shape our digital landscape. Leading a dynamic team, optimizing systems, and leveraging data insights will be your path to tangible outcomes. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance, support, and coaching
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business goals
- Collaborate with leadership to drive technology initiatives
- Establish clear KPIs and performance benchmarks for measuring progress
- Oversee network infrastructure, servers, databases, and software applications
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures
- Leverage strategic vision and technical expertise to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and innovation within the organization.
- Manage IT projects including system upgrades, software implementations, and process improvements
- Manage the company’s ERP system (currently Microsoft Dynamics AX) including upgrades and customizations.
- Prepare and manage the IT budget
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with technology vendors
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and data privacy laws
- Perform other tasks as assigned
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The Director of Information Technology spends most of their time in an office environment. The office is an open and collaborative space where work is performed both independently and with the team to ensure that internal and external stakeholder requests are met.
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
This is an exempt position that reports to the President and CEO.

LOCATION:
Construction Innovations facilities and offices are situated in Sacramento, CA, and Mather, CA.
COMPENSATION:
A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $132,800.00 - $221,700.00. The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

Qualifications
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred
- 10+ years’ experience in IT leadership roles
- Deep technical expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud-based systems, and network security
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), and/or Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certifications preferred
- Experience establishing and scaling IT teams from inception
- Strong experience implementing, deploying, upgrading, and maintaining an ERP system
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Strong strategic thinking skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and technology requirements
- Knowledge of electrical systems and their components is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to convey detailed and accurate instructions and information verbally
- Ability to hear with or without correction for receiving and interpreting detailed information
- Ability to sit at a desk workstation for varying periods
- Capability to push, pull, lift, reach, and carry at least 10 pounds, occasionally lifting/moving up to 35 lbs. with or without assistance
- Occasional walking and standing are required.
- Visual acuity with or without correction for reading documentation, analyzing data, and using electronic devices
- Use of fingers and hands for operating a computer or other electronic devices
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching may be required.
