OVERVIEW:
The Facilities & Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining all equipment including repair and purchase, planning repair activities, and maintaining maintenance procedures. This position will also ensure the buildings are abiding by 7S standards maintaining cleanliness and organization both internally and externally. Responsibilities also confirm the buildings are secure and security protocols are followed. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple projects, work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, and train and educate varying levels of team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Update and develop preventative maintenance procedures that are cost-effective and increase the operational life of the equipment

Implement and maintain a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program

Monitor and purchase equipment wear parts and critical spares as needed

Oversee movement of tools and equipment in and out of the Tool Crib. Perform audits and oversee procedural updates as required

Responsible for generating and owning annual maintenance budget

Receives and reviews requests for maintenance and prioritizes maintenance activities based on urgency and availability of resources

Organize and oversee team members to assign upcoming work; delegate assignments based on team members' skills and experience

Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities

Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers on the implementation of process improvements, whether they be achieved through machine settings, machine improvements, process improvements, or team member development

Ensure that buildings are fit for purpose and provide proactive support and solutions when required. This includes, but is not limited to; buildings, grounds, roofs, parking lots, utilities, air compressors, heaters, air conditioners, etc.

Manage outside vendors for supplies, repair, maintenance, support, and services

Ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures across the facilities; act as the first point of contact

Coordinate, schedule, and audit vehicle maintenance repairs to include preventative, mechanical, and electrical repairs to the fleet

Track fleet usage and maintain an accurate inventory of equipment

Oversee and continually ensure compliance and safety related to company vehicles and assets

Negotiate service agreements to ensure cost efficiencies

Involved in the recruitment process reviewing resumes, included in the hiring process, training new team members, and monitoring ongoing performance
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position will be working primarily in Manufacturing. Work station will be located on the Production Floor with a significant amount of time walking the internal building and external grounds. The environment is fast-paced with ever-changing priorities. The environment is one of innovation and continuous improvement.

REPORTING STRUCTURE:
This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.

Career advancement at Construction Innovations is possible with all positions but is not guaranteed. Advancement could be within the current department or to other departments within the company.
LOCATION:
Construction Innovations facilities and offices are located in Sacramento, CA, and Mather, CA.
COMPENSATION:
A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $72,700.00 - $112,400.00. The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
Qualifications
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 5-8 years managing maintenance in a professional environment
- BS in Engineering or a related field preferred
- Solid understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, machinery, carpentry, and other crafts
- Ability to plan and manage within budget and time constraints
- Experience with managing multiple vendors and small capital projects
