The Regional Energy Advisor Position
Sunnova Energy is searching for full-time, entry to mid-level commission driven marketing specialists that have a winning attitude. Our Regional Energy Advisors utilize their strong communication skills to inform, educate and advise new potential Sunnova Solar customers about the benefits of Sunnova Adaptive Home (Solar, Battery, Generator, EV Charger, HVAC, Smart Load Control, Grid Services and Solar/Storage Buyback programs).
Regional Energy Advisor Responsibilities
• Proficiency in qualifying prospects for Sunnova adaptive home products and answering frequently asked questions.
• Ability to generate demand and schedule in-home appointments for the consultant group.
• Experience working in assigned retail stores.
• Capacity to maintain team daily productivity.
• Track record of meeting and exceeding sales metrics.
Minimum Requirements
• One year or more of previous experience in lead generation, customer service, or sales.
• Proficiency in using a smartphone or tablet to access necessary tools and resources.
• Ability to connect to Wi-Fi spots for communication and accessing online information.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing market conditions and customer preferences.
• Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in residential solar or lead generation.
• 1+ years of retail experience.
• Door-to-door experience.
• Cold calling experience.
• Marketing experience.
• Self-motivated and independent player.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Accurate Data Entry
• Great in-person and over-the-phone sales conversation skills.
Working Conditions
• Remote-office environment / Retail store environment
• Working in assigned locations within a 50 miles radius of employee’s residence.
Physical Requirements
• Extended periods of time spent in a retail environment.
