About The Role
We’re looking for a Structural Engineer to join our team.
As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for for performing structural analysis of buildings to ensure they can support rooftop solar installations. This role is critical to the success of our projects, ensuring that all installations are safe, compliant, and optimized for performance.

Responsibilities- Conduct detailed structural analysis of buildings to assess their capacity to support rooftop solar installations.
- Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, and other engineers to develop and review structural designs and plans.
- Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the installation team during the construction phase.
- Perform site inspections to verify structural integrity and compliance with design specifications.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for project approvals and permits.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering and solar energy.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required in New Jersey. Ability to obtain license in New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maryland, Illinois, Minnesota preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably with a focus on solar or renewable energy projects.
- Proficient in building structural analysis software.
- Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom or Teams
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities without compromising the quality of their work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organization and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, self-starter
- Office-based with occasional travel to project sites.
- Valid Driver’s License, occasional travel to various job sites nationally as required
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
