Are you passionate about sustainability and renewable energy? Do you want to make a difference by helping homeowners access affordable, clean energy? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Solar Field Consultants to join the Lumina Team.
As a Field Consultant, you’ll engage directly with homeowners, educating them on the benefits of solar energy and setting appointments for consultations. You’ll play a vital role in driving the adoption of solar energy and helping homeowners save on their energy costs.
In this role, you'll get to:
Connect with homeowners in your local community to share valuable information about solar energy solutions
Educate potential customers on the environmental and financial benefits of solar energy, helping them understand how switching to solar can save them money on energy bills
Answer questions and address customer concerns about solar energy, our products, and the installation process
Set appointments for detailed assessments with energy consultants, helping homeowners take the next step toward transitioning to solar energy
Track customer interest and maintain accurate records of all interactions using company-provided tools
Collaborate with the team to refine outreach strategies, share insights, and improve community engagement efforts
Represent the company’s mission by promoting clean, renewable energy in a positive and professional manner
Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with special projects or events, supporting community outreach efforts, or helping with administrative tasks as needed
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
A high school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field is a plus but not required
Reliable transportation to travel to designated areas for canvassing
Availability to work flexible hours to maximize customer engagement (must be available to work in the evenings and on weekends).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivation and independence—you’ll be working on the field, often without direct supervision
A passion for sustainability and renewable energy, with a genuine interest in helping homeowners save on energy costs and reduce their environmental footprint
Position requires passing a drug screening and background check
A valid driver’s license is required for all positions at Lumina

Pay:
This position is fully commission-based, offering a guaranteed weekly draw of $375, which is offset by earned commissions. Employees will earn $300 for each successfully scheduled and completed appointment.
