DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proficient in Union Agreements, Prevailing Wage and Davis Bacon
- Communicate both Union representatives, DOL representatives, and local contractors about labor requirements in a given area in a confidential manner.
- Acquainted with commonly required labor compliance forms
- Good understanding of basic State and Federal labor laws
- Understands compliance requirements
- Researches, interprets, and enforces various sources of regulatory documentation pertaining to labor issues
- Ability to research relevant legislation at the local, state, or federal level
- Submitting wage determinations and labor classifications to the Department of Labor
- Experience with Union Fringe Benefit reporting
- Keep current with IRA requirements as well as new policies implemented by local, state, or federal level
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years previous compliance experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- Knowledge of construction practices and techniques highly desirable
- The right candidate must be a quick learner, skilled in researching, have strong organization skills, and can multi-task in the performance of various duties.
- Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Customer Service: Knowledge and skills for providing best in class customer service including needs assessment, quality, and safety standards, and to achieve overall customer satisfaction.
- Administration and Management: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, leadership, production methods, and coordination of people/resources.
- Responsibility for Outcomes and Results: Must ensure there are outcomes and results from the work performed and those resources that work for you.
