OVERVIEW:
The Team Leader is responsible for delegating resources and information needed to complete all tasks in their work area. These work areas may consist of Receiving, Picking, Packing, and shipping.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that tasks are carried out properly per controlled documents that support ISO 9001:2015
- Lead daily work area meetings with team members
- Manage the material workflow for the specific work area
- Coordinate labor and manpower needs for the specific work area
- Recording and reporting labor utilization for team members
- Train, mentor, and coach workers on all defined processes that support ISO 9001:2015 in the work area
- Operate and train on all tools and equipment
- Monitor and report team member performance feedback to the Supervisor
- Coordinate material movement with internal stakeholders
- Provide additional back-up and support for other work areas
- Ensure the accuracy of all inventory movements in a work area
- Communicate tool and equipment needs and repairs to the management team
- Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities within the work area
- Collaborate with Environment Health and Safety on compliance within assigned work area
- Maintain knowledge as the subject matter expert (SME)
- Suggest process improvement to maximize efficiencies and reduce cost
- Maintain 7S compliance and a culture of safety
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The team Leader will operate primarily on the warehouse floor. Regularly exposed to inclement weather: cold, heat, and humidity. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Frequently exposed to vibrations, moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, machines, dust, and chemicals
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
This position reports directly to the Supervisor or Manager.

Career advancement at Construction Innovations is possible with all positions but is not guaranteed. Advancement could be within the current department or to other departments within the company.
LOCATION:
Construction Innovations facilities and offices are located in Sacramento, CA.
COMPENSATION:
A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $20130 - $30.29 per hour. The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role, and compensation decisions depend on each case's facts and circumstances.

Qualifications
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma and two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience within a warehouse environment required
- Forklift certification is required after employment
- The ability to coordinate the completion of all tasks without direct supervision
- Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills: Excel, Outlook, Word
- Experience working in a Warehouse Management Systems database program
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Thorough knowledge of receiving, picking, packaging, and shipping documentation
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Continuously stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle,e or feel; reach with hands and arms above shoulder height; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
- Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, reach with hands and arms at waist level and below the waist; and work in limited space.
