Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Process Auditor to join our team at Primoris Renewable Energy, a leading Solar Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firm. The Process Auditor will be responsible for evaluating and auditing internal processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies to optimize operational efficiency, safety, and quality. The role involves working closely with project managers, engineers, and various teams to ensure that best practices are followed across all phases of solar projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit and Compliance: o Conduct regular internal audits of processes related to solar EPC projects, including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Review and evaluate project documentation, contracts, and plans to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify areas of risk or non-compliance and develop corrective action plans to resolve any deficiencies.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Process Improvement: o Analyze operational processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement process improvements, ensuring the optimization of resources, time, and costs.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and verify their effectiveness through follow-up audits.
- Quality Assurance: o Ensure that all solar EPC processes, including design, procurement, construction, and testing, meet industry standards, client specifications, and company policies.
- Conduct reviews and assessments to ensure the quality of materials and equipment used in solar projects.
- Support the development and implementation of quality management systems (QMS) to enhance process efficiency.
- Training and Support:
- Provide guidance and training to employees on industry regulations, quality standards, and process improvement techniques.
- Assist project teams in understanding audit findings and ensure that all employees are aligned with best practices and compliance requirements.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of audits, findings, corrective actions, and improvements.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management, providing insights into process performance and compliance status.
- Ensure all audit-related documentation is properly stored and accessible for future reference.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or a related field a plus. Relevant certifications in auditing (e.g., Six Sigma) are also a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in process auditing, preferably in the EPC or renewable energy sector. Experience with solar projects is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of auditing principles, quality management systems, and industry regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate audit findings clearly and effectively to all levels of staff and management.
- Proficiency in audit tools, documentation, and project management software.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
