Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Planning and Accounting (“FP&A”) Manager to join our finance team and contribute to our growth and success.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the FP&A Manager will oversee the entire financial planning and reporting process ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and efficient management of financial processes. This role will start as an individual contributor role. This role requires a high degree of collaboration other departments and our PE Firm to support overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages including, but not limited to, budget vs. actual, actual vs. forecast, etc.
- Cash Flow Reporting: Maintain 13-week cash flow reporting model and closely monitor cash position. Ability to communicate potential risks and opportunities to maximize cash flow position.
- Process Improvement: Work closely with the Controller and the accounting team to ensure that day-to-day accounting operations align with budgets and forecasts
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross functionally to provide financial insights and support business initiatives. Frequent Partnership with our PE Firm will be a regular part of this role.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts. Monitor budget variances and provide insights to management on financial performance as needed.
- Systems Implementation: Work closely with the Controller to implement a financial planning tool (e.g. Adaptive Insights Suite) to automate the budget and reporting process.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA is required; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis or a related role with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Public Accounting experience is very desirable
- Advanced knowledge of financial software and tools (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, Datarails, and Solution 7) and advanced knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel). Systems Implementation experience is a major plus
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to work cross functionally
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly. Excellent interpersonal abilities are required.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines.
- Industry experience is a plus but not required.
