About The Role
The FP&A Associate will play a key role in supporting Solar Landscape’s financial planning and analysis activities, providing strategic insights and financial reporting to guide decision-making across the company. This role will support budgeting, forecasting, cash management, project financing, and performance reporting, with a focus on continuous improvement through automation and process optimization.

Responsibilities- Budgeting/Forecasting: Manage all aspects of annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting by department and at the corporate level. Assist the Project Accounting Manager with maintaining project level budgets and forecasts. Help implement technology driven planning solutions across all aspects of the business.
- Cash Management: Support management of the internal cash position including forecasts of financing inflows and all outflows; conduct regular cash analyses to ensure optimal positioning with capital sources of varying costs/interest rates.
- Project Fundings: Support the process of receiving construction loan and tax equity fundings as projects progress from start of construction through to commercial operation.
- Management Reporting: Maintain KPIs for senior management and department heads to monitor all aspects of business performance. Collaborate with Accounting on monthly reporting.
- Process Improvement: Utilize automation to help Corporate Finance team in their goal to continually improve various processes and functions throughout company.
- Ad Hoc: Special projects as needed by the Corporate Finance team.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related finance role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in the renewable energy, environmental, or finance sectors.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics and Business Central.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MSF) or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA).
