Responsibilities:
- Ensure the work being performed is professional and conforms to existing national and local building codes
- Work cooperatively with team members to complete residential solar installations
- Identify and restore system components to resolve electrical issues
- Oversee the lead electrical system installations that interconnect the solar array to the grid
- Ensure the work performed is of the highest quality and is compliant with current NEC and local codes
- Work with crew members, homeowners or business owners to correct any system issues while supporting solar equipment installation
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Valid state or national electrician license is highly preferred but not required
- Must be extremely competent
- Knowledge of all current and updated NEC codes
- Experience replacing residential distribution panels and electrical services.
- Working knowledge and experience with all required tools associated with electrical trade.
- Ability to read and interpret single line drawings.
- Must be comfortable working from heights and ladders.
- Previous solar experience preferred but not required.
