About The Role
We are seeking a Sales Operations Senior Analyst with 1–3 years of experience to help build and refine Solar Landscape’s reporting and analytics infrastructure for our Sales team. This person will take ownership of key reporting processes, strengthen data quality and visibility, and work cross-functionally to drive insights that help us grow smarter. This position requires someone who can manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently, has strong attention to detail, and excellent time management skills. The Sales Operations Senior Analyst will have the chance to work with leaders across the sales team to contribute to enhanced reporting, analytics, and data management capabilities that will allow our sales team to more effectively prospect and win accounts.
The Sales Operations Senior Analyst will work closely with the head of Sales Enablement and Business Development managers and analysts.
We are headquartered in Asbury Park, NJ and are looking for the Sales Operations Senior Analyst to be on site several days a week (hybrid work model).

Responsibilities- Reporting: Own recurring and ad-hoc sales reporting processes; analyze sales performance trends and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Data Management: Maintain and improve data integrity across our CRM and reporting tools; implement processes to ensure accurate, timely inputs.
- Training: Provide training and guidance to the sales team on data management best practices.
- Requirements Gathering: Translate business needs into clear, structured documentation, including business requirements, workflows, and logic specifications, for our CRM and internal tools.
- Research: Conduct research on prospective client accounts to inform sales strategy and approach.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Technology, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Operations to streamline data sharing and ensure alignment across systems.
Required Qualifications- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics / Science, Business Administration, or related field. Experience in clean energy or sustainability is a plus.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, analytics, or a similar function, ideally in a fast-paced or mission-driven environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (or similar tools), with the ability to analyze data and create clear, professional presentations.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in running reports, maintaining records, and conducting research.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address challenges and provide solutions efficiently.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Teamwork: Capacity to work collaboratively with sales team and other departments.
Preferred Qualifications- Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM software (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, etc.) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Business & Technical Communication: Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
- Documentation: Experience writing business requirements, user stories, or SOPs is a plus (Agile or semi-Agile environments preferred).
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Excel Expert are a plus.
