About The Role
Solar Landscape is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to support our Operations team in maintaining a safe, compliant, and proactive work environment. The Safety Coordinator will work closely with project teams, contractors, and site personnel to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. You’ll assist in promoting a strong safety culture, conducting audits, maintaining documentation, and supporting compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities- Support the development, implementation, and enforcement of company-wide EHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct routine safety audits, site inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Lead or assist in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and the creation of corrective action plans.
- Maintain up-to-date safety records, training logs, and compliance documentation.
- Deliver EHS training programs and facilitate regular toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Oversee proper waste disposal, chemical handling, and emergency response protocols.
- Promote a strong safety culture through employee engagement, awareness campaigns, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications- Associate’s degree or higher in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in EHS coordination, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or an industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management software.
- Certifications such as OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, or First Aid/CPR are strongly preferred.
