Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daily operations of the Human Resources Department, including Recruitment, Onboarding, Employee Benefits, Training, and Payroll.
- Administer employee benefits programs and recommend improvements or new programs based on organizational needs.
- Assist in developing and executing short- and long-term staffing plans to align with company objectives.
- Collaborate with department heads and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to support and prioritize recruiting efforts.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and relevant government regulations; provide advice on legal and regulatory requirements to management.
- Maintain clear communication between employees and upper management to promote a positive work environment.
- Provide training and development opportunities for staff to help meet the company’s goals and ensure continuous improvement.
- Monitor and assess the overall employee experience to ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging workplace.
- Update and maintain accurate job descriptions for all positions in the company, working with senior management as necessary.
- Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs and payroll as backup
- Provide employee counseling services and support to ensure a high level of employee engagement and well-being.
JOB DUTIES MAY INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
- Oversee HR staff and delegate tasks as appropriate.
- Keep the CFO, Sr Exec Admin and ELT informed of employee-related issues.
- Advise management on updates to HR laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update the Employee Handbook and assist in developing new policies.
- Occasionally travel to different office locations or facilities for HR-related activities.
- Assist senior management in any HR-related projects or strategic initiatives.
- Any additional requests by Management
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience
- 2+ years of management or supervisory experience
- SHRM Certified Professional is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
