RANGE: 70K-95K ANNUAL
Summary of Position:
Provides support to Operations in United States and Canada. Responsible for the acquisition, delivery and tracking of complex electrical equipment, materials and supplies for company operations. Negotiates vendor terms, prices, lead times and schedules delivery using knowledge of budget and schedule requirements
. Responsible for managing US and Canadian supply chain logistics which may include material procurement, vendor negotiation and monitoring inventory levels at all locations.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
- · Identifies new vendor opportunities, negotiates with vendors for goods and services, negotiating the best possible price and service guarantee. Examines bids and recommends awards.
- · Responsible for Inventory Management in Colorado and all other locations.
- · Works closely with Engineering to determine accuracy of BoMs, understands Manufacturing processes, tools, and materials.
- · Identifies long-lead time materials and opportunities for 2nd source suppliers/vendors to improve lead time.
- · Manage cycle counts, inventory adjustments, physical inventory.
- · Communicate with Field Service Operations and Field Engineering to develop and maintain online parts catalogs, BoMs and assembly records within the ERP.
- · Participates as a subject matter expert on cross functional projects; advises departments on solutions regarding available inventory & scheduling.
- · Maintains professional relationship with suppliers and develops new supply sources where vendors are inadequate - recommends new vendor relationships when necessary.
- · Ensures all purchase orders have the appropriate approval, coding, and accounting treatment.
- · Works closely with field offices and AP to ensure proper PO, BOL, and invoice matching.
- · Traces delinquent arrivals from purchase orders.
- · Works closely with field offices to assist with regular inventory counts and to develop and maintain safety stock on high use or long lead time parts.
- · Interface with AP and suppliers to resolve any invoicing issues.
- · Manage the internal RMA process with internal and external vendors.
- · Follows environmental and safety regulations and acts in compliance with U.S. and International laws.
- · Complies with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics.
- · Perform any special tasks that may be assigned which will contribute to the achievement of the Companys’ strategic objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- · Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience.
- · Strong knowledge of internal service parts acquisition, inventory and accounting processes.
- · Working knowledge of international shipping, import/export duties.
- · Proven organizational and time management experience.
- · Strong computer skills with emphasis on database management, Excel, Syteline ERP or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oil and gas experience.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience.

- · Excellent writing, presentation, and documentation skills.
- · Knowledge of fabrication methods in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

- · Proactive team player comfortable working in a multi-disciplined fast paced team environment.
- · Excellent computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook and Syteline.
- · Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
Working Conditions:
This position works in an office as well as a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to hear and verbally exchange ideas and information with the public, staff and others via the phone and on-site locations.
- Ability to walk long distances in rough or variable terrain.
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds and carry objects of 10 pounds or less routinely.
- This position will frequently require you to sit, stand, and walk.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
· May require the ability to climb stairs, to kneel and/or crouch to retrieve equipment and other items.
