Salary Range: The full pay range for this role is $105,100 - $175,100 annually. We generally base our salary decisions on factors such as internal equity, candidate work and/leadership experience, educational credentials, and in some cases, candidate work location.
Scope of Job: The Digital Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of digital technology projects across the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. This role is a key liaison between cross-functional teams, driving collaboration, managing resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Digital Project Manager plays a critical role in advancing the organization's digital technology initiatives.
Responsibilities

- Project Planning and Management:
- Defines project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develops detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
- Monitors project progress and adjusts plans as necessary to meet changing requirements.
- Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
- Acts as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Facilitates collaboration between business units, technical teams, and external vendors to achieve project goals.
- Provides regular updates to leadership on project status, risks, and opportunities.
- Risk Management:
- Identifies potential project risks and develops and implements mitigation strategies.
- Proactively addresses issues to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.
- Resource Allocation and Team Coordination:
- Assigns tasks and responsibilities to project team members, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Secures commitment and allocation of resources from technology and cross-functional teams, ensuring the right skill sets are available to meet project objectives.
- Manages vendor relationships, including contracting, onboarding, and performance oversight of vendor-provided resources.
- Fosters a collaborative and productive team environment, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Quality Assurance and Delivery:
- Ensures all project deliverables meet quality standards and align with business requirements.
- Coordinates transition of completed projects to sustainment and operational support teams, including documentation, training, and support materials.
- Conducts post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
- Technology Alignment:
- Understands and applies new learning on emerging digital technologies and trends, recommending solutions to enhance organizational capabilities.

Supervision of Others: no direct reports
Working Conditions: 90% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. 10% of time is spent outside of the office visiting vendors’ and/or internal customers’ sites in addition to attending various conferences and meetings.
Fiscal Responsibilities: Ability to develop financial plans up to $2M, contributes to the development of project budgets and may be asked to contribute information for the formation of the overall DT budget.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Requires:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience managing digital or IT projects in a mid-sized organization.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Knowledge in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum)
- Ability to develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and work breakdowns.
- Ability to work independently and drive project forward with minimal supervision.
- Ability to track and communicate progress against plans, identifying and correcting issues.
- Knowledge in digital transformation initiatives and IT systems implementation
- Knowledge in budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management principles
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Planview)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit or stand at computer for a reasonable length of time typing and reading. Regularly required to walk or stand. 100% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment.
